Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students who will directly benefit from this project are my 10th and 12th grade English students. They are hard working students, the generation that will carry us into salvation, and they need things to write with.
Furthermore, this project will open up funds to purchase yearbooks for the yearbook kids.
I believe they should receive free copies of the yearbooks they have created, and I would like to purchase these for them. Before I am able to commit money to this particular cause, we need these supplies for our classroom. Thank you all for donating.
My Project
These basic purchases are what make a classroom functional. My students will be getting pens, poster board, pencils, and reward stickers (the kids LOVE these stickers). The project should also make it possible for me to ensure my yearbook students have books purchased for them.

This will be extremely helpful, and you have helped to make my first year of teaching successful. Also, by the way, the kids loved the yearbook field trip. We went to a yearbook conference in Santa Rosa, The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, to a goat farm, and then out to a big pizza dinner. It was amazing.
