Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a special education teacher and with these materials, I know that my entire class, as well as my small groups, will have what they need in order to get the most out of their education. As we move into our writing unit, I would like to create a more cozy environment. The flexible seating will help them focus. The dry-erase markers are used alongside with whiteboards to check for students' understanding. The chart paper will help display anchor charts on writing skills. The pillows will allow for on the floor writing versus being at a desk.

Differentiation requires a variety of materials and supplies.

These materials will enhance my students learning while I am teaching English Language Arts.
