My Project

I am a cross-categorical teacher for third, fourth, and fifth grade students, meaning I teach special education, in a predominantly low socioeconomic district. Our classroom is used for small groups of students to work on language arts and math at their own level, for students to take a break when they feel overwhelmed, for students to get one-on-one attention and focused instruction, for general education students who need a quiet place to work, for students to work on their IEP goals, and the list goes on.

This project is for a classroom restock of basic classroom supplies including a laminator, laminating sheets, post-it notes and tabs, pencils, and erasers.

Our classroom is for learning at our own levels. Our classroom is where we go when we need a minute before challenging ourselves to "catch up" to grade-level peers. Our classroom is where we spend a lot of time learning each and every day.
