Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 8th grade students. My students are polite, respectful, and growing up to be the best version of themselves. They are dedicated to do their best every day. Eighth grade is a vital year for them, as it helps prepare them for the challenges they may face in high school. My students are aware of the importance of this critical point in their education.
The work ethic, stamina and perseverance that my students possess is inspirational and a positive foundation that I want to ensure they carry on with them to high school and beyond.
The purchase of these supplies such as color pencils, markers, and wall art will provide students with a classroom refresh for our classroom - a place they enjoy learning. I would like to provide them with a classroom environment that will foster engagement and be a home away from home for all of my students.
