Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Developmentally appropriate, purposeful, engaging play is the foundation of early childhood development. My children come from low-income areas; several families are below the poverty level. Yet, these amazing children come to school every day ready to discover and explore new learning opportunities. During meaningful play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.

Let's go outside!

Spring is here and the weather is getting warmer; we are so excited to be able to go outside and play! We have a wonderful outdoor classroom that we are able to use. This project is requesting decoration items and other items to be used or given to the children when using the outdoor classroom. Research has shown tremendous benefits from giving students outdoor learning opportunities. Students will experience joy and excitement from being outside and exploring nature.
