Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to learn and love engaging with each other. They are excited about their successes and love to celebrate each other.
We explore multiple ways of learning including collaboration so the students can benefit from sharing their unique perspectives.
Our school is a Title I school, and we currently have 100% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. It is difficult for most of our students to provide money for materials for class, and even more difficult for us to ask them to bring money for anything extra.
My Project
With these classroom organization tools, students will spend less time transitioning between activities. They will be able to keep materials directly at their stations rather than having to individually pick up materials from a designated place and returning them between each lesson. Items will be clearly labeled creating efficiency for identifying needed material.
Students will easily be able to locate and use materials for class, allowing them more opportunities to be engaged in learning.
This will allow students to spend more time on the classroom activity, collaborating and sharing ideas, and being involved in learning.
