Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

All of these items are necessary for my students to engage with the lessons and feel clean and safe.

The wipes are for students to wipe down their desks at the end of an experiment to be sure no germs from the tools we use are left behind that would make them sick.

If they do get sick, the tissues are for students to use to blow their nose, especially during allergy season. The lamination sheets allow me to laminate maps they are using to identify weather patterns and later reuse them. The dry-erase black markers are for students to collect data on their maps. The color dry-erase markers are for me to model on the board steps they need to complete. The glue is for the students to create foldables and projects of their work. Students enjoy science and performing hands-on tasks but it's the little things we require.
