My Students

My kindergartners fill my classroom with energy, enthusiasm, laughter and joy. They demonstrate a love of learning and eagerly ask for more, more, more!

This is the first year that many of my students have ever seen a classroom.

Due to covid, a good amount of my class did not attend preschool. They also were not as socially engaged with other children before entering school. I would love to create centers that foster peer relationship building and boost self esteem. I want my students to be able to work collaboratively together towards a common goal by using their communication and social skills.

My students are also a bit behind academically. It is important that my students receive small group instruction daily that is tailored to their personal needs. By having these differentiated centers my students will be able to tackle a skill that is appropriate to their developmental level. These supplemental materials will allow me to provide the engaging lessons that they deserve, while also allowing them to further practice their reading, writing, and math!

My Project

My class LOVES to make crafts! We use so much construction paper that we are almost completed depleted of our resources. Please help us restock on some of our most frequently used colors. We also need more tape because once we are finished with our projects we love to hang out masterpieces in the hallway and need tape to do so! We also have playdough on our list which we use a lot during center time to form numbers and letters and build sight words! I also need more ink and laminating sheets to help create the fun centers that I buy from Teachers Pay Teachers. Thank you!
