This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing the stools and other tools to allow them to make healthy decisions and finding ways to cope with stress is a goal of mine. Many of my students struggle to stay still for long periods of time, they need to move around while completing class assignments.

Self regulation, self control and concentration are life skills necessary to be successful in the classroom.

Movement and stimulation improves mood, concentration, and relieves anxiety. The desk bikes will allow students to stretch their legs, relieve anxiety and maintain focus. Providing an environment that allows each student to learn to their capacity is my goal!
