My Project

Many of the new migrant teens coming to our city are in need of literacy support. Because of the difficult situations in their home countries many have been out of school for years before entering our classrooms.

These materials will help us support our newest students in strengthening the literacy skills needed to be successful in high school to finish their education.

We need pencils, sight word flash cards, index cards, bookmarks, and more!

As we help students navigate a new culture, a new city and the expectations for our school systems these materials will be used immediately and support students for years to come.
