Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am working at an inner city school that seems to just get the leftovers from all the other schools. My desk are old, falling apart, and some of my High School students just DON'T FIT. I need desk where Mathematics magic can happen.

I have a Small classroom and it is full.

I cannot arrange the current desk so that I can easily create groups, and still have room to move around to help the students. These desk are configurable. I can do tables for one section, small pods for others. I will have the flexibility to move them around and configure based on their needs.

While I would LOVE to get all new desks and chairs, i am going to start with just 8. I can create two work "pods" in my room, and rearrange the others around these.
