Help me give my students a classroom library! This cart will provide my students with an organized way of picking out a book to read of their choice that is at their level.

My Project

My classroom is in need of a classroom library. My students need a space where they can go to a pick out books of their own choose. This library space makes its for them to pick a book that is also at their level and appropriate for them to be reading. When students are finished with work they are encouraged to free read.

Students should be allowed to pick their books because it can help them develop a love of reading and foster their learning.

Self-selecting reading can benefit the students by keeping them.

Engaged - Students will likely stay engaged with reading when they have picked them out.

Self-awareness - Reading books they have picked can help students disconnect from stressors and increase their self-awareness.

Decision-making - Students develop decision-making skills as they can choose books they enjoy.
