This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
These books are all books that my 3rd grade students love to read! When we go to the school library, they books they want to read are always checked out already, so they are not able to read them. I would like to create a classroom library for them to be able to read in class and also take home to read.
My goal is to encourage my students to read books they love and to grow their love of reading!
I plan to use the floor cushions and reading buddies for when we do silent reading. My students enjoy finding a spot on the floor to read independently.
