My Project

For second grade elementary students, learning to read can be an exciting adventure! My students have expressed interest in all different types of books from fiction to nonfiction and fantasy to poetry.

My goal is to create a functional in-classroom library for my students to access.

With on-level books, my students will be able to have access to more books and new stories. I want to supply more stories to my students that they may not have access elsewhere. I always encourage reading and D.E.A.R. time for my students to relax and indulge in the world of their book!

In order to store these books, our classroom library needs bookshelves that are accessible to students of all heights. The two bookshelves will be enough to store all of the newer books, as well as the ones my students have already read and loved!

With your help, my students will be able to access a world of stories that they wouldn't have otherwise. We appreciate your time and consideration for this project.
