My Project

I teach in a special education high school classroom. Many of the students do not feel good about themselves or their learning abilities. Giving them incentives and rewards when they make gains will help them stay motivated.

Often my students come to class hungry, because they are to fend for themselves or they can not afford snacks to help them through the day.

When they are hungry they often can not concentrate.

My students would also benefit from having some materials to help with social skills and anxiety that they face on a daily basis.
