My Project

Students should have a classroom filled with the most current resources. Help me give my students new and updated posters with the skills they will be learning. New posters share the most current strategies students need to guide their success. Posters in the room now have seen better days! Command hooks and magnets will help me secure them to the walls and whiteboard.

The organization will help students easily transition to different parts of the classroom.

The file cabinet will work as a writing station where the students can access all writing supplies. Having all writing supplies in one place will help reduce movement to multiple areas, giving students more time to focus on their writing. This will also limit the interruptions because extra supplies can be stored in the drawers. Students can help themselves when they need something.

The whiteboard will allow me to create a present/absent board closer to the classroom entrance. Students will move their magnet to present as they enter the room. I will easily be able to take attendance this way.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
