This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In celebration of Earth Day and with a commitment to fostering environmental education and sustainability, we are proposing this project aims to gift students with succulent plants, establish an Indoor Garden Hydroponics Growing System, and provide gardening starting kits for hands-on learning. Additionally, we seek to replace cracked outdoor planters to ensure the safety of our students.
Gifting students with succulent plants promotes environmental awareness, responsibility, and a connection to nature.
Studies show several benefits for children who have green plants, such as encouraging mindfulness and caring for living organisms, and
providing a tangible reminder of our commitment to sustainability.
We are also requesting outdoor planters that are durable, safe, and aesthetically pleasing, creating inviting spaces for students to engage with nature.
In this project, we aim to empower students to become stewards of the environment and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Thank you for your commitment to nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious and empowered students.
