Help me give my students more materials in their classroom centers! I am trying to have manipulatives donated to add to learning centers and make them better for my students.
My Pre-K students are eager to explore their classroom and they spend a large part of each day in learning centers. Our curriculum supports constant movement to accommodate the needs of four year olds to move frequently to different activities. This is developmentally appropriate and also requires numerous materials and manipulatives to switch in and out with each unit. I would like to provide materials that excite the students and encourage participation to learn more about the concepts introduced.
As a first year teacher at my school, I have a wonderful plan to create stimulating learning centers and an inviting classroom environment.
In order to do this there are many things to purchase to make the classroom vibrant, inviting and full of manipulatives that promote learning. Thank you for your interest in helping my class this year!
My Project
We are requesting Hear Myself phones, LEGO tubes experiment set with storage, giant alphabet beads, alphabet sounds teaching tubs and storage rack. These materials will be awesome for our centers! Our students spend two hours each day in learning centers discovering ways to learn each concept we have discussed in a hands on way. We try to provide new and exciting materials for each unit. The LEGO set tubes will be great for exploring cause and effect!
Thank you for helping my students have more materials to explore letters, sounds, and cause and effect with the lego tube set.
Children will get to use their creativity and create new things with these new games and manipulatives. They will love more materials in their centers and we appreciate your help!
