Thank you so much for your interest in my classroom!! My project includes many basic materials to aid in my whole group instruction and center time activities. One of the larger items is a primary teaching easel that can hold big books, and chart paper to record key words from group discussions. The children will be able to come up and interact easily with the easel and also use it during center time to practice letters, numbers and shapes. It will help tremendously with daily whole group instructional time! Some of the smaller items included in my project are magnetic letters, a calendar chart to go over dates and weather, bean bag chairs for students to sit in while they are in the reading center and whisper phones that echo back what the children are reading to themselves or a buddy. Each of the materials in my project will aid in my instruction and help create a stimulating environment for hands on learning and play. Pre-Kindergarten requires a variety of learning centers and opportunities to explore concepts through exploration and movement! We are a busy group and appreciate your assistance in building a classroom full of learning opportunities and visual aids that will help my students learn and grow this year.
