My Students

My students are about to enter the first grade! I want to create and provide a high level learning environment that is welcoming, appropriate, and special just for them. I hope to create a space that encourages students to want to take pride in their home away from home. I want them to feel comfortable and ready to learn!

My students are inquisitive, kind-hearted, and eager to learn.

I have met most, if not all, of the students who will be entering first grade this year during my student teaching the previous school year. I want to provide the best possible learning environment for them and after the year we've had they deserve it!

My Project

These dry erase tables are a pretty cool feature in any classroom. I sat at one while teaching virtual first grade last year. I loved it and so did my students who came in for testing! I know my future students will as well (anything that makes writing fun is a plus in my book)! All students need a place to sit and I plan on adding baskets under these chairs for individual student storage.

With these new furnishings my students will be able to work together and engage in their work in a way that will lead them down the road to success!

It is my hope that these new furnishings will help enhance their experiences in the classroom and encourage collaborative learning.
