This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Incorporating bean bag chairs, flexible seating options, board games, and motivational posters into the classroom can significantly enhance students' mental health by fostering a more comfortable, engaging, and supportive environment.
Flexible seating - These allow students to choose more comfortable seating arrangements that may lead to reducing stress and anxiety.
Students that are allowed to to sit in a more relaxed manner often feel more at ease, helping to improve focus, creativity, and overall emotional well-being.
Board games encourage social interaction and collaboration, which helps build communication skills, teamwork, and empathy. They offer a fun way to engage with others, providing students with a positive break from traditional academic tasks.
Motivational posters serve as visual reminders that encourage a positive mindset, perseverance and self-belief.
