This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As teachers, we spend a lot of our own money on classroom supplies. This year, we were at an all-time high for sicknesses, so, even with some parent donations, I had to spend a lot on tissues and disinfectant wipes. I'm hoping to start next year strong with a good supply. Additionally, I am looking around my classroom at the many other things that need replacing. We like to sit on the rug to read, and many of my beanbag chairs and cushions have the insides coming out and have been taped and sewn too many times. Additionally, my headphones are breaking. We will utilize everything in this project next year.
