This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are such a fun and lovable group. My students come from varying ethnic backgrounds.
My students light up my world and remind me daily why I chose to become an educator.
I truly appreciate each one of my students. They teach me just as much as I teach them. My students have a variety of learning styles that are as varied as they are. My classroom is very diverse; therefore, having a variety of ways to learn is essential.
My Project
As we have transitioned back to school, we are in need of working technology. Our DonorsChoose project is asking for a new laptop to assist us in providing quality lessons. The new laptop would allow us to utilize technology in our lessons in a more effective manner. Our project is also asking for air purifier filters. In a previous project, our class was donated enough money to purchase an air purifier to keep our classroom air clean. We want to continue coming to school each day and to do so we must remain healthy. We have enjoyed being back in the classroom this school year and want to continue our learning here.
