My Project

As a first-year teacher in a low-income community, I am working hard to create a classroom that is safe, welcoming, and full of opportunities for my students to learn and grow. Many of my students come to school each day with incredible potential, but they have limited access to basic resources that support their success. My goal is to remove those barriers by providing a well-equipped classroom where every child feels prepared, valued, and motivated.

This project will provide essential classroom supplies such as folders and organizational tools.

It will also include cleaning supplies to help maintain a healthy learning environment—something especially important in a shared space where germs can spread quickly. By ensuring our classroom stays clean and stocked, students can focus more on learning and less on discomfort or distraction.

In addition, I am requesting a small selection of rewards and incentives to help build a positive classroom culture. These items will be used to celebrate student effort, encourage perseverance, and recognize achievements both big and small. For many students, these moments of recognition can make a meaningful difference in their confidence and engagement.

Starting my teaching journey in this community has been both inspiring and challenging. With your support, I can provide my students with the tools they need to succeed and create an environment where they feel excited to learn each day. Every donation—big or small—will directly impact my students and help set them up for a successful year.
