My Project

I teach in a rural school in Utah. Our teachers do not have emergency backpacks in our classrooms. Our MERT team is trying to put together backpacks for each room. They will have student lists, first aid kits, and other essentials for a classroom lockdown. Our goal is to keep our students safe and to prepare our teachers to help their classrooms. Every teacher will have access to gloves to administer first aid, class lists, and all of the items will be in a classroom backpack that is easily accessible for teacher to grab when evacuating or use when they are on a lockdown. All items will be used during emergency situations.
