My Project

Each morning, students gather as a group to share and get set for a busy day of learning and fun. Later, they gather for a lesson in math or a cozy read-aloud of their favorite book.

Student learning and engagement is at its highest for little learners when they are in close proximity to the teacher.

Gathering together as a group on a defined rug space is a great way to start the day and to give direct instruction as well.

Eyes are watching and ears are listening as they come together each day. It is a central meeting focal point for the class.
