I am requesting six Hokki Stools for my students to use in my second grade classroom. These ergonomic stools are designed with a convex base, so students can move around while they are sitting down. This movement provides both physical and mental benefits to the students. While the students are moving, they are more focused on their work. Students can sway and wiggle while sitting in these stools and not disrupt the other students. The funding of this project will make a big difference in my class and ultimately the success of my students! Students will be able to move while sitting in these stools, which will help to keep them actively engaged in their work. My ultimate goal would be to have a stool for each student in my class. The funding of this proposal is the first step in that direction. Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
