Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love teaching and first grade is so much fun. I teach at a charter school in Indiana. I teach lower income students who deserve the same education and resources as all other kids. I love where I work and drive a hour each way to go to teach these amazing kids. They are all ranges and levels. Each one is special and makes my job exciting. I am in need of books that are at a lower level for my first grade friends. Thank you for taking the time to read more about my classroom. Have a wonderful year.
My Project
Every day as a teacher we use these supplies for small group, whole group and even one on one support. These are things kids have direct access to and will help them grow and change. These things are used up so quickly and continue to need to be reordered. During small groups kids will use dry erase sleeves, pencils and even the erasers to work on skills for intervention and review. We also use the card stock to make flashcards and resources for kids to use on a daily basis. Thanks again for taking the time to help us change the lives of many kids.
