Moving to the charter school, I found we have limited resources for guided reading instruction. I need these resources, including the reading comprehension bundle and vocabulary photos, to help build successful readers. These will be used daily in small group instruction for students to learn all the essential reading skills. Small group instruction is the place that we refine the skills. These resources are much needed to make this year successful. Students will also use in independent practice and even might take home for extra skill practice. I picked both 2nd and 1st grade materials because the students are at all different academic levels, and I need a variety of resources.
