Help me give my students the ability to follow along on written documents and lab reports more easily. The Epson document camera will allow them to see me work out problems.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are inquisitive, thoughtful, and eager to learn. The diverse learners in my room are naturally observant and have a desire to explore the phenomenons of the natural world. I have the joy of seeing their faces light up when they are grasping new content and finding ways to solve problems that are unique and fun.
My students are engineers and scientists every day in my classroom.
Most of the students in my urban school come from high poverty neighborhoods, and school is a safe place for them.
My Project
Students often struggle to keep up with written work when trying go from whiteboard to notebook paper. It helps them tremendously to look at exactly what they have and see the thought process of others.
This document camera would give them the chance to see the work of others on the big screen and work more easily together.
It would also allow my students to see my iPad screen more easily than walking throughout the room. This tool would be extremely beneficial to my students with special needs also as they would be able to see exactly what they have in front of them on the big screen while we work.
