My Students

We need more computers! Do you know what it is like for 25 students to share 2 old desktop computers?

My students come from a low socioeconomic background.

They have a passion for discovery which is constantly cut down at home because of their lack of resources. Many of them have only one source of Internet and that is at our school. Sadly, that Internet source is provided by 2 very old Dell computers. My average classroom size is 25 so for 25 students to do groups projects, our computer use schedule is a nightmare.

My Project

In science particularly, my students need the ability to research planets, the earth, animals, and everything around them. The 5 Coby tablets that you will will provide will allow give more group time for students to research and discover science. With the ability to place my students in groups of five, they will be able to practice teamwork skills that they desperately need.

Technology is rapidly changing and my students need current technology to be ready for the world that they are going to enter.

These tablets will give my students technological exposure that they need.
