Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students would like to create a classroom community board. The students will design and create the board in our classroom. The goal for the board is to promote classroom unity and provide positive messages for our students everyday. We are asking for tissue paper poms in various colors. These poms will be traded out through the year based on holidays, seasons and student house colors.

The purpose of the board is to promote a sense of belonging and sense of classroom community.

All students will have a part in the board display. We are also asking for pit balls, styrofoam disks and fishing wire so students can create giant friendship bracelets for the classroom community board. The is will promote teamwork, friendship and social connections.
