This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is geared around environmental science and it is a good opportunity for my kids to both learn how a small eco system works as well as learn the anatomy of chickens and how they lay eggs. We can discuss how farms make food for our society and the kids will be able to see the whole process of how the chickens lay eggs and we can prepare them to eat. My classroom is located in a small agricultural community so being able to have our own small farm would be a very cool experience for the kids in the classroom.
