Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 9th and 11th grade ELA at a high school. My students work hard to reach Accelerated Reading goals, as well as reading for school assignments and leisure. With these books, students will have new options to read to serve their varied interests. I have talked to my students, and I am requesting books that they want to read such as, "The Dark Tower", "A Court of Thorns and Roses", and "Harry Potter". I think this will encourage them to read more since these books are things they have asked to read. These books can be used for class discussions, and they will help develop reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. Any donations to this project will directly benefit my students. Please help me reach my goal!
