My Students

The students at my school and in my classroom are all within the Title I community, meaning this is a low-income school. The majority of my students have free or reduced-price lunches. My students are so excited to be back in person and be able to be with their friends.

The neighborhood surrounding my school is extremely low-income.

My Project

Help me give my students supplies to help support their education. My students have been through so much in their little lives. We have been going online a few times this year and my students do not have reliable headphones. I am a first-year teacher, therefore I don’t have many books for my classroom. During our Zoom calls, I like to read them a book and have them practice comprehension skills. This would be great because it would give my classroom a variety of books to read in the class and online. I also threw in a few cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer to try to stop the spread at my school.
