My Project

Students can only learn once they have what they need to be, and feel, ready to learn. I have seen that many students are consistently present in school; however, they aren't able to give their best efforts due to external conditions: oftentimes a lack of necessary resources. My students will benefit greatly from having the essentials readily available to them as back to school season comes around.

Having resources readily available for students when they come in so they have one less thing to worry about will make all the difference for my students.

Knowing they won't be penalized for not having a pencil because their teacher has them readily available to borrow (or have for the day!) will make my students feel welcomed and better about coming to school every day. While a pencil, dry erase marker, or box of tissues may seem small, it sometimes is the only thing standing between my students and them getting their work done.
