Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help getting these classroom basics through our door! The organizational baskets, caddies, and file folder baskets will be placed on the shelves in the front of our classroom. They will help organize day to day lessons, summative student portfolios, and math/science supplies. The paper will be used to help label and color code items clearly to locate and recall. Name tags are pivotal for their quick and supportive math facts to encourage resourceful students. The smaller 16 containers will be used to hold small manipulatives and rewards like water bottle stickers for great academic performance and behavior. Having these will help our classroom run smoothly from day to day.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic data tracking, organizational skills, and reflecting on their work. By providing these tools, my students will begin to build life long skills that can help them starting in 5th grade and beyond. As their teacher, I am fostering a learning environment of celebrating progress and defining success. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. Mahalo!
