My Students

My students attend a Title I charter school in Texas where nearly 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite many hardships, my students are college-bound, eager to learn, and always do their best.

Many of our students, teachers, and staff lost many things during Hurricane Harvey.

We've lost students from our school because they were displaced. Months later we are still recovering from the devastation of the hurricane.

Although our community has experienced so much devastation as a result of Hurricane Harvey, our students have a determination to succeed and are committed to going to college!

My Project

Classroom supplies also give students various ways visualizing what they're learning. Different students have different learning styles, so it's important to teach students in as many ways as possible.

Teaching reading and writing would be nearly impossible without classroom supplies because students would have no way to practice their skills.

Supplies in the classroom allow students to express what they've learned, and that expression provides educators with valuable feedback. Having a printer in our Reading classroom saves us time by allowing us to print a master copy of reading essentials and only requiring print jobs at the community printer. We appreciate your support.
