I teach a creative group of students. They are inquisitive and like to question why. In our classroom, I try to bring our curriculum to life with hands-on, innovative activities. I want my students to see the world around them and interact with the materials we are using.
I want my students to put their problem-solving skills to use and know that they can make a difference in the world with the choices they make.
I want them to know the sky is the limit and that they should reach for the stars.
My Project
We are headed back to basics! I am requesting a variety of supplies that my students need to help them accomplish their everyday tasks. The cardstock will be used to by students to print their work in all areas of the curriculum. The magnetic dots will hang student work up in the classroom and to post anchor charts for them to refer to. The brads will be used to hold our papers together and help keep us organized. The dice will allow us to master our math facts and build math fluency. The black dots will help them create ten frames in math so that they can master their math facts. The wiggly eyes will be used on art projects. The Dr. Seuss selfie station and bookmarks will become a part of our library to promote reading.
