My Students

My students bring my classroom alive! Their love of learning and curiosity is why I love my job! I've created an environment in my classroom where my students feel safe and nurtured.

If you were to walk into my classroom, you would feel as if you were walking into our home, and you would see that we are more of a big family than a class.

My class consists of 12 eager-to-learn second graders in a rural district. Our room is full of readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and dreamers. I am always encouraging my students to get up and get learning in their home-like classroom. There is truly nothing better than watching my students engage in active learning together.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of some classroom basics.

Every school year, about this time, we start to run low on classroom necessities.

In this project you will find basic classroom materials that will help our classroom restock. Our classroom is in need of both regular bright paper and bright card stock. My students love the brightness of the paper. We are always in need of new, fresh correcting pens, correcting markers, and regular pens. The pens and markers seem to grow legs and disappear the school year continues on. We appreciate all the help we can get in restocking our classroom!
