Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom will consist of about 20 kindergarten students who's primary or only language is Spanish. Most of the students in the district are migrant and/or low income. My goal is to empower students and demonstrate that regardless of what challenges and limitations they may be facing at home, that does not limit their intellectual abilities. I would like to expand their knowledge and expose them to educational resources that their families are not able to afford. In order to enrich their lives, I believe that we must not only educate their minds but create an environment that caters to their emotions as well.

My Project

Having Charles Leonard Dry Erase Lapboards and Charles Leonard Reusable Clear Dry Erase Pockets will not only be useful when working in writing and math stations but it will also help the environment by reducing the amount of paper copies used.

By donating to our classroom you will be helping to enrich the lives of many students by supplying them with basic academic tools.

The binders will be used for individual morning work, where each student will have laminated pages to practice their writing and fine motor skills with dry erase markers.

The Black Mountain Products Exercise Balance Stability Disc will help create a more comfortable environment for the students to learn in.
