My third grade class of 20 students who come from a small, rural town in West Virginia. We are a large elementary school of around 700 students. Most of the students in our school come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. All of the students at our school receive free lunch and breakfast every day. My students' ability levels range from above average to below average, and everything in between.
My students are eager to learn each and every day.
I want to be able to give my students a classroom environment that will enhance their learning and allow them to reach their full potential.
My Project
My students come to my room and don't have a good place to store their backpack. We had hooks on the wall under the whiteboard, but they fell off and the backpacks were still touching the ground. If you put the backpacks on their chairs, they are always getting knocked off when we walk around the room.
Help me give my students a storage cart to keep their backpack on and keep them clean.
This backpack storage cart will help with students feeling like they have personal space to keep their backpack. It will also help keep their backpack off the ground and from getting dirty. I feel like this will help with the spreading of germs too. My students and I would love to have this cart to use in our classroom.
