Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Throughout the year, students will need access to various art supplies, such as scissors, highlighters, endless amounts of Post-it notes and index cards, and colored pencils. We use these supplies across five subjects and all curriculum. Having access to these items will help students achieve success in language arts by helping them create a painted essay or by highlighting important information during math assignments. Students will even use these materials in order to identify the parts of speech found in different writing samples. Having access to these materials will certainly help enrich the students' learning experience and understanding of the material.
