My Project

I always want to give my students a calming atmosphere where they can learn and be creative. Lighting is super important in doing that. Harsh fluorescent lights can sometimes agitate students who need less stimulation. With globe lights and floor lamps, the lighting is much softer, creating a calm atmosphere where students need it.

Lighting not only is calming, but sets the mood and is welcoming to students.

Lighting can reduce visual discomfort. It can improve and enhance students' overall focus, comprehension, and achievement. Ambient lighting provides students with the opportunity to refresh and restore each day to be ready to learn and help their minds focus on the task at hand. I want my students to feel that my classroom is a calm and safe place to be and learn.
