This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As of now my students just listen when I do most read alouds. Having an entire class set of the book we read will allow the students to follow along while I read. This will greatly improve their reading skills and recognition of words and vocabulary. It will also give the students the ability to go back and research through the book to cite evidence. Learning to read is such an important part of elementary school, and the imagination it creates is invaluable! Can you help me so this for my students?
