My Students
This is a wonderful class of 5th graders! We look at habits of character to help drive us in our every day activities. This class embodies all 10 habits of character and I could not be any prouder. They always show great craftsmanship in their work and are responsible for their work. They collaborate wonderfully and show compassion when others are struggling on a concept.
These students give me their best and I want to return that to them by giving them the best resources and materials I possibly can to help further their education.
I want them to have a working environment that they are excited to come into. I want them to want to come to school every day because they are excited to learn. I hope with your help to create that atmosphere for this class and every class to come.
My Project
I work in the WSFCS district in North Carolina. We have adopted a wonderful program called i-Ready. It is a great supplement which provides individualized instruction through short lessons on the computer program. This program aids students in reading and math. My students will use headphones to listen to the lessons on the program. These lessons are meant to close any learning gaps they may have.
I work in a low income area and my students are unable to purchase headphones to participate in this computer program.
Please help me provide them with the supplies needed for this intervention program.
