Hello education supporters! My name is Nicole Walters. I am a 5th grade teacher at Brunson Elementary School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Throughout my first year of teaching, my students have been asking for so many books to be added to our classroom library. I have been slowly adding onto it, but I am finding I need a little help. I hope with some assistance, that I can provide these students with engaging and exciting stories that they can take home and practice reading with. Although we have a school library that provides free books for students to check out, it doesn't have enough copies of the more popular books. Students are constantly asking to go to the library to see if a book was returned so they can check it out. I am hoping that by adding these highly requested books to my library, that it will eliminate many of these trips that cut into learning time in the classroom. Please help assist me in building up a classroom library that my students will love and visit to daily.
