Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

When you think of a library, you probably think of a space that's carefully organized. In our school library, the books are as thoughtfully arranged as you would expect-- but the circulation desk isn't! Our library is a classroom-sized space, and my "desk" is actually a table, so my space is really suffering from a lack of storage.

A cabinet with drawers and space on top for the library's printer would make the circulation desk a more functional, orderly space.

Paper trays will help me keep handouts, signs, blank cardstock, blank label sheets, printed barcodes, and extra printer paper close at hand. Small organizers will help me keep supplies at my fingertips. The set of two containers will be just the right size to hold a set of book spine labels and keep them accessible and mobile. A replacement extra-long HDMI cable will let me once again make use of the library's TV display when classes come in or to play a slideshow throughout the day.

I would love for my circulation space to be as tidy as the rest of the library, and your support can help get it there!
