Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
CHS’s College Decision Day (May 30th) is an event dedicated to our hard-working seniors being able to celebrate their success with high school and the college application process. The donations requested on this page will be raffled to students who are attending 4-year and 2-year institutions. The ten (10) high-value raffle prizes will be exciting tech incentives for students to participate during our college decision day celebration. We will have several booths with fun activities for students to join with their friends, and we want our students to be super excited for the event. Included in the raffle prizes are headphones for studying, Kindles for academic and casual reading, and other useful and entertaining tech gifts for our students to take with them on their next journey at college.
Most of our students will be the first in their family to attend college.
They have all been working extremely hard on their college applications over the past year and we want to honor their efforts. These raffle items will be immensely helpful for their future achievements in college, and our students would be extremely appreciative and thankful for these resources for enhancing their college experiences.
