My Students

My students are hard working, motivated future leaders hat love technology. Their school has a very diverse economic background.

My classroom is a 6th grade special education classroom.

I have eager learners who need the tools that technology provides to help keep them engaged. My students are special education students. They all learn at a different rate. Having chromebooks allows me to place them on math programs that are tailored to their level of learning.

Our school district has implemented Google Classroom and Mobymax to ensure that our students are prepared for the next grade level and for college. As a result, many students have encountered problems accessing their accounts outside of school to complete their assignments in Google Classroom. Mobymax helps me as their teacher to test my students and find their weakness and assign work for them to fill their knowledge gaps. My students need the tools to achieve in all academic areas. Chromebooks help keep them engaged with less frustration.

My Project

Our school has created Google and Mobymax accounts for all of our students. This makes the demand for the computer labs much higher. I Since my class is a special education classroom I have less students. Having my own Chromebooks for my classroom would allow my students to stay in the classroom and complete assignments. Each Chromebook I get is one less student that has to wait for the use of a computer in the lab.

The Chromebooks will allow me to create assignments for my students.

I will also be able to diagnose my students weaknesses and create assignments that will help them strengthen those areas of need.
